A motorcyclist died in hospital following a collision with a car at the junction of Morden Road and Jubilee Way in South Wimbledon. The accident happened at approximately 9:10pm on Wednesday 14th September 2016.
The following evening I drove past the scene of the accident and noticed a large group of motorcyclists at the crash scene. They were holding a vigil for the 48 year old deceased Polish motorcyclist and had created a beautiful memorial consisting of floral arrangements and candles, as is the tradition in Poland.
