Melrose Gardens Bed and Breakfast in Hammersmith
Martin and Su have lived in Melrose Gardens for the past 25 years and enjoy this tranquil, tree-lined conservation area. We love the City with its theatres and famous attractions, and we really enjoy welcoming guests to stay and helping them plan their day. There are numerous restaurants, cafes, shops all within a few minutes walk. Westfield Shopping Centre is 8 minutes away, also the Thames and its riverside pubs are within easy reach. This area has excellent transport links to the city from Shepherds Bush and Hammersmith and to Clapham Junction and Earls Court//Olympia. Our closest Airport is Heathrow, 35 minutes by underground or 25 minutes by Taxi.
We have three rooms available – Double Ensuite Twin Room and Single Room with Private Bathroom.
All rooms have a desk/ample hanging/storage space, bedside tables with reading lamps, TV with Free View, clock radios, complimentary Wi-Fi, hairdryers, toiletries, towels, bedroom slippers and dressing gowns.
Bathrooms:
We have two Villeroy and Boch inspired bathrooms, each with full size bathtub and power shower attachment, wash hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Breakfast / Conservatory: served between 7.30 am to 8.45 am.
Breakfast is continental with freshly squeezed fruit juice, fresh fruit, cereals, homemade bread and yogurt, Martins special orange marmalade! as well as a selection of conserves, and sliced cheese. Fresh coffee and a selection of teas are served. An English breakfast can be provided for a supplement but requires 24 hours notice.

Melrose Gardens is well placed for many Olympic venues, 35 minutes to the Olympic Park and Stadium at Stratford from Shephards Bush Underground – please check for availability.
Wimbledon is not so far away, 8 stops by tube (35 mins), for the Annual Lawn Tennis Championships and Olympic Tennis.
Melrose Gardens is within easy reach of Harrods 5 stops on the underground, Oxford Street also 5 stops (15 mins) away and Notting Hill Gate just 2 stops (Portobello Market).
With four bus routes, 72, 220, 283 and 295 and night buses to Hammersmith – N9, N11, and N97 among others. There are 5 tube lines, Piccadilly and District (10 mins), Central (8mins), Circle / Hammersmith and City (5mins).
Our Local Taxi Company is readily available with competitive rates to main line stations, airports and elsewhere.
