Rosemary Lodge was established in 1946 and is owned and run by The Wimbledon Guild (Registered Charity No: 200424). We are dedicated to the provision of the finest care for all our Residents and we place special emphasis on supporting Residents in making their own decisions about as many aspects of their lives at Rosemary Lodge as possible.

A Lovely Location
Rosemary Lodge is situated in The Drive (off Ridgway) a quiet, leafy, residential suburb of Wimbledon just moments from Wimbledon Common and a short distance from Wimbledon Village.
Making the right decision
For families and carers the decision on how to best look after a loved one is probably one of the most difficult ones you will have had to make. At Rosemary Lodge our Manager, Margaret Redway has over 20 years experience in the Care Home sector and our comprehensive pre-admission process is designed to share some of that knowledge with you and to offer practical support in helping you to reach the right decision.
All prospective Residents (where possible), and their carers and families are welcome to visit Rosemary Lodge and meet with a senior member of staff where we hope to answer any questions you may have on living within our community.
Designed with you in mind
Whether you have special dietary requirements or need a birthday card posting our aim is to provide the highest quality of care. We actively encourage our Residents to make as many decisions about their daily lives as their individual circumstances permit.
Our strong links with the local community enables us to run a varied and interesting activities programme, ranging from day trips to visits from local schools.
The services of the Wimbledon Guild, including a dedicated Citizen’s Advice Bureau, means that a wide variety of issues can be dealt with, for Residents, as they arise.
Our Staff
Our highly qualified and attentive staff are key to providing the best levels of care to Residents. Our commitment to on-going staff training has recently included the latest dementia training for all members of staff and we implement an on-going staff training programme which integrates the latest initiatives relating to best practice in the care home sector.
What do we offer?
We encourage our Residents to be as busy as they wish to be and we aim to offer a balance of both stimulating and interesting activities and services. Our desire is to personalise the care and support each Resident receives whether that means keeping up with family birthdays or offering extra support at meal times. The care provided for each resident is constantly reviewed to ensure their changing needs are met.
We are always delighted when our Residents furnish rooms with their own possessions to help create a familiar environment.
Maintaining standards
We seek to continually improve the services we provide. Each year we conduct regular Resident Satisfaction Surveys as well as holding meetings with Residents, their families and carers.
Rosemary Lodge is inspected regularly by the Care Quality Commission. This is the body that regularly inspects all care homes in England.
