Try to choose a domain name, which is between four and twelve characters long.  All three character domain names have now been registered and those much over twelve characters can become a little difficult to read. Two character domain names are no longer available to buy.  If you can get a domain name, which contains at least one word describing your business, you will have a greater chance of achieving a higher ranking in search engine listings.
