Crown Kindergartens Day Nursery is an open plan, private, family-run Day Nursery that has been providing the best quality childcare and education for young children since 1974. We are open between 8.00am and 6.00pm from Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) for 52 weeks of the year and can offer full time, part-time, or a range of flexible sessions which can be tailored to meet the needs of all families with young children between the ages of one and five years.

We at Crown recognise each child’s individuality, efforts and achievements and, therefore, plan a curriculum that stimulates a love of learning; fostering a healthy development. A rich, structured fun learning environment, inside and outside, is provided where children are given appropriate responsibility, and are allowed to make errors, decisions and choices. We believe that children learn by ‘doing’ rather than being told and our staff fully support and encourage them in their individual journeys of self-awareness and developmental growth.
Our day nursery is beautifully located within an attractive green oasis approached by our path from Ashcombe Road; a quiet, secure, residential area in the heart of Wimbledon conveniently situated within walking distance of Wimbledon mainline and underground stations. Our large, well-equipped garden has been divided into four split-level play zones all made fully secure with high wooden fences surrounding the entire garden. We have special parking arrangements to allow for safe drop off and collection of your child.
